It is still all yours and you are still in charge, that will stay that way. If you want to monetize your YouTube video, then we recommend to purchase a license and then uploaded in your Creator Studio to the video that you need it for on YouTube.

Royalty-Free license simplifies music licensing by removing the need to negotiate licensing fees and gives you the right to use copyrighted music without the need to pay royalties for recurring use (that is, for each time the music is “publicly performed” to the listener). Let’s get a bit more in depth:
